(Nee Tomlinson) Passed away peacefully at Castle Hill Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 6th September 2025 aged 91. Loving wife of Bryan and Mum to the family. A funeral service will be held at Willerby Methodist Church on Thursday 9th October at 10.30am followed by Interment in Tranby Lane Cemetery. Please wear bright clothing for the service. Peacefully on 19th September 2025 surrounded by her loving family, aged 66 years. Loving wife to Billy, step-mum to Dean and nanna to Megan and William, treasured sister to Bernie, Jackie, Gail and the late Michael and dear sister-in-law to Paul and Kathy, dear auntie to Claire, Steven and Louise. 04-04-1956 – 07-09-2025 Sheri was the treasured youngest daughter of Tom and Lyn, beloved sister to Karen, devoted wife of Kevin and loving mum to Matthew and Jonathan. She was the heart of her family, known for her kindness, thoughtfulness and unwavering love. Passed away peacefully at St Mary’s Chanterlands on 17th September 2025 aged 70 years. Beloved Son of Marjorie and the late Jack. Loving Brother of John and Sister In-law Linda. Uncle to Paul and Nicola and a Great Uncle who will be sadly missed. Former member of Kingston Bowling Club, West Park Bowling Club and an active supporter of bowling throughout the city. Service at the Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby on Tuesday, 7th October at 11.30am. No flowers please but donations for the Stroke Association may be left at the service.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful death of John on the 21st September 2025. Loving husband of Sandra, Dearest dad of Joanne and Adrian, grandad of Neave, Ciaran, Morgan, Callum and Benjamin. Now pain free and at peace following a gruelling, painful, distressing and life changing diagnosis of oesophageal cancer 8 months ago. Unfortunately he had the worst journey possible with a rollercoaster many avoid and have a successful outcome. Sadly this wasn’t meant to be! Suffering until his last days! We would like to express our huge thanks and admiration for Queens at CHH and particularly Ward 32 where he spent at least 4 months out of the last 8. Ward 32 you were and are outstanding. You laughed, sang and giggled with Dad which he loved and so did we. You’re all very special. A private family service is to be held on the 17th October at Jones Funeral Directors Chapel in South Cave. John’s wake / celebration (all welcome) will follow the private service on the 17th October at 1330hrs, Little Wold Vineyard, South Cave, HU15 2BB.
