Steven’s death is not being treated as suspicious, the force said

A body has been found in the search for a missing Hull man, Humberside Police has confirmed.

A spokesperson for the force said today that officers searching for 50-year-old missing man Steven received reports a body has been located near to Preston Road this morning. Formal identification had taken place, and sadly it is confirmed to be missing Steven from the Hull area.

A Humberside Police spokesperson continued: “Steven’s family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers at this time, our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.

“Initial enquiries have been carried out and Steven’s death is not being treated as suspicious.”
