Hull FC host Catalans this Thursday night.
John Cartwright has named his Hull FC matchday side to take on Catalans Dragons at the MKM Stadium this Thursday night. The Black and Whites will field a team containing a total of 11 academy products, with the side aiming to back up last week’s win over Warrington Wolves with a final regular season round victory – one that will put them inside Super League’s play-off positions, at least for 24 hours.
Aware of the task at hand, Cartwright has made two changes to his side. The entire back line is the same as last week, with Logan Moy starting at full-back. On the wings, Lewis Martin and Harvey Barron are selected with Tom Briscoe and Davy Litten in the centres. Callum Kemp and Aidan Sezer are in the halves.
Up front, Yusuf Aydin returns from suspension and is paired with Liam Watts in the front row. Amir Bourouh also takes his place at hooker after serving a recent ban. Zak Hardaker and Jordan Lane take the two back row spots, with Brad Fash at loose forward.
Denive Balmforth, who starred on his return to the Hull side last week, is named on the bench. He is joined by Cade Cust, who has shaken off an injury doubt to take his place – with props Will Gardiner and Matty Laidlaw completing the side. Hugo Salabio is the 18th man.
