Hull FC back Jordan Rapana is to retire at the end of the 2025 Super League season.

New Zealand international Rapana, 36, joined Hull on a two-year deal from Canberra Raiders before this season.

Operating in a number of positions across the backline, he has played 20 Super League games this year for the Black-and-Whites and scored three tries after a long career in Australia’s NRL.

Rapana scored 106 tries in more than 200 games for the Raiders and played in their 2019 Grand Final loss to Sydney Roosters.

After playing in the 2013 World Cup for the Cook Islands, he switched to New Zealand, going on to win 16 caps for the Kiwis.
