Bill Leyland has been given the nod to feature in Hull KR’s showdown with St Helens this evening. The hooker has been named on the bench in what is the Robins’ only change, with the former London Broncos player replacing the injured Sauaso Sue.

It is a change in tact from head coach Willie Peters, who has opted against a like-for-like replacement for Sue in the shape of Jack Brown, preferring a second hooker to an additional middle.

The rest of the side is unchanged. Dean Hadley is promoted to the starting line-up in the absence of Sue, who was withdrawn inside four minutes at Headingley last week due to a knee injury that will now keep him out for two to four matches.

Leyland goes to the bench, but the rest remains as it was last week, with Peters trusting the players who struggled to perform last week to bounce back this week.

They take on a St Helens side in great form, having won nine of their last ten matches. However, they are without their wingers this evening, with Kyle Feldt and Owen Dagnall both injured last week during the victory over Hull FC.
