An application has been submitted for a three-storey apartment block near a sports stadium.
Plans lodged with Hull City Council propose to build 18, two-bedroom flats on the site of a former motor spares garage, on Walliker Street off Anlaby Road, which was demolished last year.
The development proposed by Azza Construction Limited, opposite West Park and less than 400m (1,312ft) from the MKM Stadium, will feature “intelligent infra red heating” either hidden in the ceiling or through wall panels.
The application includes a “secure and tightly controlled” car park due to “exceptionally” busy traffic on match days and events.
The proposed two-bedroom flats spanning about 70 sq m (754 sq ft), will offer three different styles depending on where they are located in the building.
A 12-space car park with two disabled spaces is also part of the plans.
The property will be accessible via Carnegie Street to the south of the site.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the documents submitted state each room will have its own programmable heating, which can be controlled from anywhere via a mobile phone or laptop.
