Hull’s Connexin Live arena has announced an exciting Christmas performance of a festive classic this December. The live orchestral concert show will be on stage for just one night only – and promises enjoyable entertainment for all ages.

Home Alone in Concert has been previously described as uplifting but emotional with the live music taking the storyline to new deeper levels. Composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score is performed live to picture by the International Film Orchestra.

It’s a Christmastime treat and a comedy that will have you in stitches with the live performance taking the much-loved film to a whole new level. Many will know the story of McCallister family jetting off to Paris from Chicago, but somehow leaving their eight-year-old son Kevin behind.

The boy has to step up and protect the family home when clumsy thieves break in looking for something to rob. The original script, written by the late John Hughes, has relatable characters and it’s full of humour and heartfelt emotion.

The Connexin Live website says: “A true Christmas favourite, this beloved comedy classic features renowned composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score performed live to picture by the International Film Orchestra.
