Hull FC back row forward Jed Cartwright dislocated his shoulder less than five minutes into Friday’s clash against St Helens.

Cartwright left the field after coming off second best in a collision, with Hull, already doing it tough, suffering their latest blow. Sky Sports have already confirmed a dislocated shoulder after speaking to Hull’s medical staff pitch side.

The Australian was in his sixth game back from a hamstring injury that kept him out for over three months of the season. It is his third injury of the year.

Meanwhile, Hull are already doing it tough on Merseyside after a costly victory against Leigh Leopards last week. They lost John Asiata to a hamstring injury, with the loose forward ruled out for the rest of the season.

Elsewhere, Will Pryce suffered a break to his foot and is unlikely to play again this year, while Liam Watts failed a HIA. Sam Eseh also pulled out of the side with a hamstring injury.

Hull are also without Liam Knight (ankle) and Ligi Sao (knee). However, the likes of Aidan Sezer, Jordan Rapana, Brad Fash, and Ed Chamberlain all returned to the side for the clash against the Saints.

A further update from head coach John Cartwright will be provided post-match.
