You’ll be able to get up close to some of English football’s most coveted prizes
Some of English football’s most sought-after trophies will be heading to Hull this weekend. The Premier League trophy is among those going on display as part of a nationwide tour.
The metre-tall trophy will be on show at the Currys store at Clough Road Retail Park on Saturday. Meanwhile, the EFL Championship, League One and League Two trophies will be heading to the Currys store at St Andrew’s Quay on the same day alongside the Carabao (EFL) Cup.
The trophy tour is part of a partnership between Sky Sports and Currys as the broadcaster celebrates a new four-year deal with the Premier League that will see it show 215 games each season – 80 per cent of all televised live games. The 19-store tour will give fans the chance to see some of the biggest trophies being chased by English football clubs up close.
Meanwhile, Currys is offering customers an exclusive in-store deal with up to £200 off a Sky Glass Gen 2 TV – the company’s latest all-in-one 4K quantum dot display and Dolby Atmos soundbar – when purchased with an Ultimate TV subscription and Sky Sports. There’s also the chance to win one of four pairs of tickets to a Premier League game of your choice with hospitality access. More details are available in store.
The trophies will be in the Hull stores from 9am until 5pm on Saturday, August 16.
