Hull FC ran out 32-12 winners at Wigan Warriors on Saturday afternoon. The Black and Whites were outstanding, building a 20-0 half-time lead and holding their own in the second half. Here are the ratings.

Zak Hardaker – Stepped in at full-back strongly again. Ran well, broke out of numerous tackles, and kept Hull ticking. 8

Harvey Barron – A big contributor to the nightmare Christian Wade had on the opposite side. Went strong. Was denied a try in the second half through a superb Wigan cover tackle. 8

Jordan Rapana – Carried hard and was a nuisance breaking out of tackles. Always a threat and got a deserved try late on. 8

Davy Litten – Had his moments with the ball and looked to combine with Martin. 8

Lewis Martin – The winger was faultless, a threat on the edge, and carried hard and strong all game. 8

Jack Charles – A composed foil for Sezer. Kept Hull going, and his involvements were all high quality. 8

Aidan Sezer – Led Hull superbly, as he has all season. Continuously came onto the ball at pace and broke through countless times. His assist for Cartwright’s second try was superb and his own try equally so. Kicked well and finished with a booming kick downfield to round the victory off. 9

Herman Ese’ese – The prop was immense again. Strong carries, tackle busts, and defensively outstanding. 9

Cade Cust – Kept things simple and got his forwards rolling and was a threat with his running game. 8

Liam Knight – Led the charge from the off. Strong carries, busted tackles, and found the offload. Played 70 minutes. 9

Jed Cartwright – Scored two tries and got through 65 minutes in his third game back. A really strong account. 9

Brad Fash – Played his role to effect and had his moments. Gritty, tough, and stood up tall when Hull needed him. 8

Yusuf Aydin – The forward was strong again. Defended tough and carried hard. 8

Jack Ashworth – Came on and added to Hull. Chased hard for Rapana’s try and got the last one himself. 8

Matty Laidlaw – Another strong performance from the young prop. Did his best and got through some big moments. 8

Will Hutchinson – Entered the field on the hour mark. Helped make sure Hull turned the ball over in the right areas. 8

Tom Briscoe – Never got on. N/A
