Wristbands for the region’s biggest festival for emerging music, Humber Street Sesh, are now on sale.
The sustainable wristbands, made from rPET which is recycled PET plastic, are now available to purchase from outlets across the region, with full details listed below and on the festival website. Organisers, Sesh Events Ltd, are supported by new wristband sponsor, Hornsea Orchard, a local, craft cider business, with both companies committed to sustainable practice.
Dave Mays, festival director, said: “Hornsea Orchard are environmentally friendly, local, craft cider producers and we’re over the moon that they have come on board to support the festival with the wristbands, helping us make the event as sustainable as we can.” Martin Varley, managing director of Hornsea Orchard, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the wristbands for Humber Street Sesh 2025 — the perfect setting to launch our Yorkshire Craft Cider.
“Join us down on the Marina, where we’ll be serving a handpicked selection of our ciders from our custom-built horsebox bar.” Replicating last year’s festival site footprint on the east side of the Marina, with a free fringe area on Humber Street and Stage@thedock Amphitheatre, hosted by Humber Music Hub, the 2025 festival will showcase more than 100 acts, shining a light on the best regional emerging music, as well as some top industry bands from across the UK.
Mark Page, festival director, said: “We’re so excited about the exceptional line-ups this year, and with some artists fresh from performing at Glastonbury, we expect a huge attendance. We urge people to take advantage of the current advance price instead of paying the gate price on Saturday, August 2.”
Humber Street Sesh 2025 will be held at Hull Marina, on Saturday, August 2, from midday to 11pm, headlined by The Howl & The Hum. Free entrance for children aged 12 and under, when accompanied by an 18-years-or-over fee-paying adult.
