Humber Bridge closed northbound following crash

Parts of the Humber Bridge have closed following a crash, officials have said.

The northbound carriageway of the A15, between Barton to Hessle, is temporarily closed to all traffic.

Officials at the Humber Bridge confirmed the closure on social media at 07:41 BST.

Humberside Police have warned motorists to avoid the area where possible. The BBC has contacted the police for further details of the incident.
