The family of a missing Hull man is organising a search party for him around the area he was last seen and have asked for as many people to help out as possible.

Jamie, 28, was last seen at 2pm on Tuesday, June 17, on Stansfield Close, Humberside Police said. A search party is being organised for Tuesday, June 24, at Stonebridge Park in Stonebridge Avenue, east Hull.

Volunteers will meet at 12pm midday. Posting on Facebook, the organisers, including Jamie’s partner Paige, said: “Please come join and get Jamie back with his family! This is a massive event and means so much to Jamie’s loved ones!”

Paige previously told Hull Live the family is “besides themselves” and Jamie’s daughters “can’t wait to have the biggest cuddle with their daddy.”

In a statement yesterday, Humberside Police said: “Officers conducting searches for missing 28-year-old Jamie from Hull are continuing to appeal for help to locate him after he was reported to us as missing on Wednesday, 18 June.

“Jamie was last seen in the area of Halliwell Close in Hull at around 1pm on Tuesday, 17 June and is described as being around 5ft 8ins tall with short light brown hair.

“He is believed to be wearing a grey jacket with black jogging bottoms and grey and orange trainers. He is also thought to be in possession of a green bicycle.”

Leading the search, Inspector Jonathon McCloud said: “Over the course of the last two days we have been conducting multiple lines of enquiry including collating and reviewing CCTV and doorbell footage and conducting house to house to understand which direction Jamie travelled in from Halliwell Close.

“As part of those enquiries, the below footage CCTV footage captures Jamie at approximately 2pm on Tuesday, 17 June on Stansfield Close. This is the last confirmed sighting of him.

“From this point we believe Jamie may have travelled in the direction towards Marfleet Lane and are now appealing for anybody who lives or may have been in the general area between 1.45pm and 4pm to please contact us if you have information that may help.”

Anybody who has any information, no matter how small, dashcam or CCTV footage, or who may know where Jamie may be and can assist Humberside Police with locating him is asked to please call the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 351 of 18 June.
