A devoted mother to son Phillip and John, Mother-in-law to Clair and Tracey and proud Grandma to Finley and Jacob. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her, for her amazing sense of humour and warmth. A funeral service will take place on Friday 15th August 2025 at 10:30am, in the large Chapel at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium. All that knew her are invited to attend and to join her family in celebrating her life. Anne Penna (née Smith) Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 4th July 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Frank, adored mum of Martina, Juliette, Francesco, Claudia and the late Lisa. Dearly loved grandma and great grandma. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leslie Robinson, who died on 3rd July 2025 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Les was a devoted husband to Tracy, a much-loved father to Katy, and a cherished grandfather to Isla May. He was also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, father-in-law, son-in-law, and a respected and valued friend to many, past and present. Les grew up in Derbyshire, where he discovered his love of hill walking while exploring the local countryside. His early work in the hospitality industry in Bakewell marked the beginning of a long and well-regarded career. Les was known for going the extra mile and for helping make many weddings truly memorable – most recently during his time at Kenwick Park. A service to celebrate Les’s life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday, 1st August 2025, at 10:30 am. Following the service, all are welcome to join us for the wake at Kenwick Park, Louth. We are very grateful to the team at Kenwick Park for kindly hosting the gathering in Les’s memory. Family flowers only please. (Binks) It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Margaret Styan, who left us peacefully just days before her 83rd birthday. Born in Harrogate, Judith spent her life in Yorkshire, later settling in Bishop Burton and then Newport, Brough. Judith was predeceased by her beloved husband, Basil, and is remembered as a devoted and loving mother to Teresa and Edward, and their partners, John and Christina. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Luke and Fran, who brought her immense joy. Her humour, compassion, and love for her family will be remembered always. A funeral service will be held at: Haltemprice Crematorium on Tuesday, 5th August at 12:30 pm. A celebration of her life will follow at The Altisidora, Bishop Burton – all are welcome to attend. Dark clothing is not necessary – Judith loved a bright scarf, and we invite you to wear something colourful in her honour. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
