Rugby League 26 has launched this Thursday, with the first instalment of the sport’s gaming franchise in eight years coming to shops and consoles. As always, Hull FC features in the game, alongside fellow Super League, Championship, League 1, and NRL teams, with the graphics and player renders significantly improved.

Like any release of this kind, player ratings are a topic of huge debate, and this game will be no different. Every player in the game is given an overall rating based on their statistics, and now, Hull FC’s best players have been revealed.

Produced by Big Ant Studios, the franchise has rated Hull FC’s highest player as 88, with that title going to the club’s barnstorming prop forward Herman Ese’ese. Another Black and Whites forward is second, with John Asiata rated at 81, and Aidan Sezer and Zak Hardaker both rated at 80.

Elsewhere, Yusuf Aydin and Jordan Rapana are rated at 78, while Harvey Barron and Ligi Sao come in at 77. Denive Balmforth, Liam Knight, and Lewis Martin are rated at 76, with Jed Cartwright, Will Pryce, and Liam Watts all rated 75. Amir Bouroiuh and Tom Brisoce are rated 74.

The highest Super League players are two half-backs: Hull KR’s Mikey Lewis and Warrington Wolves’ George Williams, who are both rated 90. That puts them on par with the likes of NRL stars Herbie Farnworth, Latrell Mitchell and Cameron Munster.

Warrington fullback Matt Dufty and the Wigan Warriors pair of Jai Field and Bevan French are next up, all securing an 89 score. Therefore, Ese’ese is the joint fifth highest-rated Super League player in the game. Also on 88 are Warrington winger Matty Ashton and Wigan duo Junior Nsemba and Luke Thompson.

The highest-rated player in the game is Penrith Panthers superstar Nathan Cleary, who comes in at 93. Brisbane Broncos prop Payne Haas is rated 92.

The game is available now on the following platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles, not to mention on PC, albeit via Steam.
