A CCTV appeal has been launched following an ‘attempted robbery’ at a Hull shopping centre that left a man badly injured.
It follows an incident at North Point Shopping Centre, in Bransholme, at around 7.10pm on Monday, June 16. A man collecting parcels from a post locker is reported to have been approached by another man who “allegedly attempted to take the parcels and reportedly assaulted him”.
A Humberside Police spokesperson added: “Emergency services attended, and the man collecting the parcels was taken to hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries to his nose.”
A CCTV image of a man officers are keen to speak to as part of their investigation has now been released.
The force said: “If you recognise this man, or have any information that could assist our enquiries, please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference 25*82666.
“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
