Danny Richardson has been named in the halves for Hull KR alongside Tyrone May to face Leigh Leopards, in the absence of reigning Man of Steel Mikey Lewis.
The 24-year-old is sidelined due to head injury protocols, ruled a Category 1 in the first-half against Leeds Rhinos at Sewell Group Craven Park in Super League Round 17. He will however be available for Rovers’ trip to Catalans Dragons next Saturday.
Richardson, 28, was recalled during the week from his loan spell at Salford Red Devils after making just one appearance. Today marks his third Super League match for Hull KR this year.
Meanwhile, James Batchelor returns to action and has been named in the back-row. The influential forward has missed the last two games due to a throat injury, with Willie Peters confirming in the week that his return will ultimately be down to the player himself due to the delicate nature of his injury.
He replaces Rhyse Martin, who is a surprise absentee from the 17. Jai Whitbread has also been named in the back-row, with Jez Litten, Dean Hadley, Sam Luckley and Kelepi Tanginoa on the interchange bench.
