A container ship appears to be on fire in Albert Dock this morning, with people in Hull city centre complaining about a thick cloud of smoke.
Photographs sent to Hull Live by readers and posted in our Traffic and Travel group appear to show the smoke originating from a container ship in Albert Dock.
The wind direction is currently northeasterly, which is sending smoke towards the city centre. A witness said everyone was “coughing” due to the effects of the smoke.
Hull Live has contacted Humberside Fire and Rescue Service for a statement.
