Vintage vehicles have rolled into a seaside town as part of a festival of speed.
Race the Waves will see cars, trucks and motorcycles race over a 200-yard course on Bridlington South Beach in East Yorkshire.
Some of the vehicles have paraded on Church Green in the town ahead of the racing, which starts on Saturday. The event finishes on Sunday.
Tourism body Visit East Yorkshire described it as a “unique event within the UK motoring calendar”.
People were given the chance to have a closer look at some of the vehicles that will compete on Saturday and Sunday

Some of the competitors have travelled from as far away as Oklahoma in the US for the event
Roger Saunders, who has restored his 1953 Chevy pickup truck, said the event was “crazy” but said he “loves it”
