Police have released CCTV footage after “somebody gained entry to a back garden and set fire to a discarded mattress” in Hull.
The suspected arson, which caused damage to a fence, happened at the rear of a property in Cranbrook Avenue at around 9.30pm on Saturday, May 10.
Officers investigating the incident are now releasing CCTV of a man they would like to speak to who may have information that could assist their enquiries. A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “We appreciate the footage is not the best quality, but if you are the man shown, or you know who is or have any information that may assist our enquiries, please contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting investigation reference 25*64189.
“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
