A Hull care home is opening its doors to people from the local area to share in the fun of a traditional summer fete.
Kesteven Grange Care Home, at Kingswood, has put out an invitation to the community to pop in on Saturday, June 14. From 11am to 3pm, the care home, run by HC-One, is promising a “fun-filled, lively” event.
There will be activities for all ages, including a bouncy castle, a barbecue and refreshments, raffles and a tombola. As well as fun sideshows such as a penalty shootout, hook-a-duck and bottle hoopla, there will also be stalls providing sweet treats, cakes, ice lollies and more.
Mandy Gallagher, wellbeing co-ordinator at Kesteven Grange, said: “We’re excited to open our doors to the community for what promises to be a fantastic day. Events like these are a great way to bring everyone together and support our residents.
“We encourage everyone to pop along, bring the family, and enjoy the summer fun.” Everyone is welcome to attend the summer fete and admission is free.
