Thousands of runners are expected to be pounding the streets of east Hull on Sunday, June 8 as the annual Jane Tomlinson Run For All 10K returns to the city.
With main sponsor INEOS, this year’s event has a new route. Roadworks on the A63 means the race has moved from its usual city centre location to the home of Hull Kingston Rovers, the Sewell Group Craven Park stadium, for the start and finish, with the route taking participants through the city’s East Park.
Organisers said: “The INEOS Hull 10K features a route inclusive for all. Starting at Sewell Group Craven Park, home of the city’s beloved Hull KR [the club is playing Warrington Wolves the previous day for the Challenge Cup at Wembley], participants will embark on a flat and fast course through East Park before returning to the stadium grounds.
“Whether hoping to PB, or raising money for a great cause, the INEOS Hull 10K is a great choice for any runner.” Below is everything you need to know about the event.
Who can take part?
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.
Is there still time to enter?
A spokesperson for Run For All said: “On-the-day entry will be available for some of our events, but it depends on capacity.

What time does the 10K start?
The race starts at 9.30am. Be aware that some road closures and parking restrictions will have come into force before then.
What will I receive?
Entrants can expect chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal – and memories of a brilliant day!
Where can I leave my belongings?
There is a designated baggage store – please use the tear-off strip attached to your race number and simply tie it around the handle of your bag before checking it in. After the race, you are advised to make your way to the baggage store to reclaim your property before meeting up with loved ones; collecting bags as soon as possible will help avoid queues.
Any clothing discarded at the start of the race will be collected and donated. Any old/ unwanted trainers that you may have previously thrown out can be dropped off at special JogOn Again stations, in the Event Village.
JogOn Again enables the reuse of unwanted shoes by giving them to those in need, through distribution by partners in 11 hubs around the world. Where reuse is not an option for the shoes, they are shredded, and their remains are reused for other purposes.
Will there be refreshments?
The Event Village will be offering food and drink choices to buy. Local businesses will also be welcoming spectators and participants.
On the course itself, there will be water stations supplying bottled water – please make use of the bins provided post water stations.
Are there any toilets?
There will be plenty of toilets around the stadium which you will be able to use pre or post-race.
What about medical help?
Personnel will be on hand to help at regular intervals on the course, with fixed first-aid stations located near the water stations. In addition, there will be a first-aid unit and recovery area located near the start and finish line, and roaming first-aiders around the Event Village.
Are there any pacers?
Friendly pacers on the course, sponsored by Arla Protein, will help you stick to your intended finish time. They will have flags attached to them with finish times so you can choose the best pace to suit you.
Is anyone taking pictures?
The MarathonPhotos team will be on course throughout the event to snap your picture. Photographs can be purchased at marathonphotos.live
Will the results be recorded?
All results will be available in the results section of the runforall.com website soon after the end of the event.
What about parking?
The car park at Craven Park will be shut to vehicles throughout the event. There will be no parking or waiting allowed on Maybury Road from 6pm, on Saturday, June 7 until noon on Sunday, June 8.
Organisers have said on-street parking in the local area will be available but urged courtesy towards residents and not to block driveways, adding: “Please also do not park on the route as you will be unable to move your vehicle until the road closures are lifted.”
