Hull FC defeated Catalans Dragons 34-0 in Perpignan on Saturday evening – with six tries posted for their biggest win of the season to date. Here are the ratings.
Will Pryce – Scored two sensational tries. The first was a dazzling kick return, and the second was another sprint to the line. His best performance for the club so far. He was outstanding. 9.5
Harvey Barron – The winger came up with two huge defensive plays. One in the first half to diffuse a Keary kick and the second doing enough to ensure Makinson’s foot was in touch. Also carried strong throughout. 8
Tom Briscoe – Scored his 98th try for the club. Did his job and remained as professional as ever. 7
Davy Litten – The centre was incredible. His energy is infectious, and he bounced around all game, competing for everything. Scored a deserved try and also defended tough. His best display at this level. Genuinely phenomenal. 10
Lewis Martin – The winger scored his 16th try of the season. In support to back up Litten and show off his pace. Carried well as always. 8
Jordan Rapana – Stepped into the halves and was a threat carrying the ball. A solid return after a week out with a head injury. 8
Aidan Sezer – Led the side well without Asiata, kicked strongly and had a hand in everything, as he has all season. Been a superb addition. 8
Herman Ese’ese – The big prop kicked off the scoring and never eased up. Dominant. 8
Amir Bourouh – A tidy first-half performance but didn’t come back on for the second half. He has a possible fracture to his cheekbone and has gone straight to hospital. 7
Liam Knight – Immense. Added punch and power to the Hull pack and doesn’t take a step back. 8
Ed Chamberlain – Solid and gritty as always. Never put a foot wrong. 7
Zak Hardaker – Defensive workload was most impressive. Constantly put himself in the picture and broke away well for Briscoe’s try. 8
Yusuf Aydin – Stepped into some big boots with Asiata missing but did a good job. No nonsense carries and tackles, and that’s exactly what Hull needed. 7
Jack Ashworth – Some big runs of the bench. Was full of enthusiasm as always. 7
Denive Balmforth – Played big minutes coming on for Bourouh. Went well. 7
Matty Laidlaw – Came on before half time and had a real engine and determination about him again. A purple patch of form at Super League level for the young prop. 7
Sam Eseh – Put himself about. Delivered a couple of huge hits and passed an HIA over half-time. 7
