A woman has sadly died following an ‘incident on a bus’, Humberside Police said. Last week, the force issued an appeal stating a woman had been seriously injured as a bus pulled away from a stop.
In an update today, Tuesday, July 28, a spokesperson for the police sadly said the woman had died. Her family are being supported by specially trained officers and have asked for their privacy at this extremely difficult time.
Humberside Police said that at around 5.30pm on Friday, July 25, they received reports that a ‘passenger had fallen to the floor as the bus departed from a stop.’ Emergency service attended the scene on Holderness Road and a woman was taken to hospital.
She remained there until Monday, July 28, where she sadly died as a result of her injuries. A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers continue to appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police, or has any CCTV or dashcam footage, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 449 of 25 July.”
