Eribe Doro will remain with Bradford Bulls for the immediate future, though Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has confirmed that the forward will get another Super League opportunity later this year.

The 24-year-old rejoined the Championship side earlier this month on an initial two-week loan, which has since been extended. Doro has started the last four matches at loose forward, helping the Bulls secure wins over Hunslet, Oldham, and, most recently, Widnes.

Meanwhile, Super League leaders Rovers return to action this week with a trip to Salford Red Devils in the Round 20 split.

Doro, however, will remain at Bradford for the time being, as Peters confirmed: “This week at this stage, he’ll play there [at Bradford].

“But we’ll look at the next few weeks and see what that looks like.”

The rising forward has made four appearances for the Robins in all competitions so far, debuting in the Challenge Cup against Oldham and later making his first Super League appearance for the club in the 54-0 Magic Weekend win over Salford.

Peters remains confident that Doro will return to the Super League fold, with seven regular-season games remaining after Thursday’s clash at the Salford Community Stadium.

“We look at Eribe and watch how he’s playing,” Peters said. “It’s difficult because when we’ve got all our players and forwards in, which every squad wants to have, you’ve got depth there.

“So, Eribe is going to get another opportunity and we’re just going to work out when that is.

“At the moment he’s playing, which is the main thing for his development. He’s comfortable at Bradford, he knows the environment. They love him over there, but he’s our player and he’ll certainly play a part at some stage.”
