It is with great sadness to announce that Maureen Klein has sadly passed away peacefully on Thursday 10th July 2025 at Castle Hill Hospital surrounded by her close family. Maureen was a much loved wife of William (Bill) Klein and they were happily married for 58 years. A devoted mum to son, Wayne and daughter, Jill and amazing Nana to Elise, Harley and Jaylan. The family would like to thank ward 30 and 31 at the Queen’s Centre for all their care and support throughout Maureen’s time in hospital. Maureen will be missed so much! The funeral service is to be held at the Large Chapel, Crematorium on Chanterlands Avenue on Tuesday 12th August at 10:30 am. The Wake will be held at The Lodge, Sutton Golf Club from 12 noon. Passed away peacefully at Evora Hospice Care, Newry, on the 16th of July 2025. Late of Lagan View, Donaghcloney, Co. Armagh. Dearly beloved daughter of the late Fred and Jessie (Gretna Road, Coventry), much loved cousin, neighbour, friend to many and treasured friend of Jo and an inspiration to many students of history throughout her teaching career at Banbury School and Hymers College, Hull.
