Former Hull City loanee Lincoln looks set to leave Fenerbahce and make a move to Italy, with speculation suggesting that he will join Udinese.

Lincoln spent the second half of the season on loan at the MKM Stadium, playing 11 times as City secured survival on the final day of the Championship campaign, with his highlight coming at Hillborough when his free-kick found the head of Charlie Hughes to power in a header in stoppage time to seal a valuable 1-0 win.

The 26-year-old playmaker has been told to find a new club by Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho, having been left out of the Istanbul giant’s pre-season training camp in Portugal.

City‘s former loanee had been open about wanting to stay at City this summer, while owner Acun Ilicali hinted back in May that a deal could be done, but that’s no longer likely.

The Serie A side have now moved to try and do a deal with the Brazilian, according to Hurriyet, who say a deal with the Italian outfit it close.

Elsewhere, Owen Beck is on his way to City’s Championship rivals Derby County, where he will link up with boss John Eustace once again for the duration of the 2025/26 season.

City had identified Beck as a top left-back option this summer, with Liverpool keen to loan him out, and the Tigers had held positive talks with the Premier League champions, as well as the defender over a season-long loan move from Anfield.

Unfortunately for the Tigers, the three-window fee restrictions placed on them by the EFL have prevented them from signing the Wales Under-21 international, who played under Eustace at Blackburn Rovers last season and has gone to Pride Park.

Beck joins a growing list of players the Tigers had hoped to bring in, but have since missed on due to the ongoing situation with the EFL, which is unlikely to be resolved until early next month.
