Hundreds of people turned out for Hull’s Pretty Muddy event.
Held at the Costello Stadium in the city, it was all to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The 5k course – complete with nets, inflatables, and of course, mud – is fun for all the family.
It equates to just over three miles, and can take about an hour to complete, on average. However, no one was running against the clock and there was no pressure to finish in a certain time – the event is designed by Cancer Research UK to be lots of fun.
And judging by these images captured by Hull Live’s Donna Clifford, there was plenty of that to be had.
