Now then. The business end of the Super League season is fast approaching, with Hull FC heading to Wigan Warriors this Saturday afternoon as the competition continues into its final third of the year.
Of course, it’s the club’s first trip to Wigan since that famous cup win back in March, but it’s league stakes that are up for grabs now, and they’re big ones at that. Wigan will be aiming to keep the pressure up on leaders Hull KR, while Hull need a win to end the round in the top six positions.
There are changes to both sides with Hull set to field elements of youth. They’ll be looking to pick up where they left off against Wakefield last week, with a strong second half performance based on completion and defence paving the way to victory. Can John Cartwright’s side come up trumps again? Time will tell, but as always, we’ll be there with all the build up, live action, and post-match reaction. Stay tuned.
