
A man is set to appear in court after a stabbing in Hornsea.
Police were called to Newbegin at around 8.10pm on Sunday (July 13) following an ‘altercation’ in the area. Officers found a 29-year-old man had been injured and he was taken to hospital for treatment by emergency services. His injuries are “not thought to be life threatening at this time”, police say.
A 34-year-old man has now been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife. James Ward, of Chrystals Road, Hornsea, was remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, July 15).
