John Cartwright has made just one personnel change to his Hull FC side tonight, with Jack Charles coming in for Tom Briscoe on the interchange. However, there is another big call made, with Jed Cartwright named in the pack and offering the Black and Whites a genuine back rower in their starting lineup for the first time in four months.
Hosting Wakefield Trinity at the MKM Stadium, Cartwright takes his place in the starting 13, with the Australian returning to the side last week off the bench. He is a welcome inclusion and will now hope to kick on after some promising moments in defence during his comeback game against St Helens.
The rest of the side is unchanged, with Zak Hardaker lining up at full-back once again. The veteran took the club Man of the Match award last week in what was an outstanding performance despite it being the first time playing the role for the club.
On the wings, Harvey Barron and Lewis Martin get the nod, with Jordan Rapana and Davy Litten in the centres. Cade Cust and Aidan Sezer are partnered in the halves.
Up front, Herman Ese’ese starts alongside Liam Knight at prop. Cartwright is joined by Ed Chamberlain in the back row, with Yusuf Aydin at loose-forward.
Charles is joined on the interchange by Jack Ashworth, Brad Fash, and Sam Eseh. Briscoe is the 18th man.
