Abdus Omur is set to seal a move back to Turkey with Hull City sanctioning his exit to Antalyaspor on loan for the duration of the 2025/26 season.

Hull Live revealed last month that Omur was in talks with the Corendon Park-based outfit and a move to the Super Lig club is expected to be confirmed imminently. However, the deal is expected to be a loan rather than a permanent transfer.

Omur will link up with Dogukan Sinik, who left City after a miserable three years earlier this summer and could be joined by Lincoln, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the MKM Stadium from Fenerbahce.

Since arriving at City last January, Omur has struggled to pin down regular football at the MKM Stadium with only 37 appearances under his belt, and he spent the second half of the campaign at Rizespor, who were one of the clubs eyeing a move for him during this window.

The 26-year-old did not report back for the start of pre-season training at City last week, instead remaining in his homeland in a bid to tie up a move away. As it stands, Omur will return to City next summer with the playmaker under contract at the MKM Stadium until June 2027.

HIs departure follows on from Marvin Mehlem who sealed a permanent exit on Tuesday when he joined German second division side Arminia Bielefeld, while Matty Jacob and Thimothee Lo-Tutala have also moved out on season-long loans. Xavier Simons and Anthony Racioppi have also made permanent exits.
