John Cartwright has made just the one change to his Hull FC 21-man squad ahead of Saturday’s Super League game at Warrington Wolves.
Denive Balmforth drops out, with the young hooker moving to Catalans Dragons on loan for the rest of the season. The club has a callback option after two weeks, with Balmforth set to pick up some valuable experience at the struggling French side. That move sees Will Hutchinson come into the squad. The teenager dummy half made his Hull debut against York Acorn back in February and has also featured twice in Super League.
Elsewhere, Jack Charles is named once again in the side and expected to feature again in the first team. The 19-year-old made his first senior Hull appearance of the season at Salford Red Devils last week, coming on for Amir Bourouh, with Cade Cust then moving to hooker.
That could be an option for Cartwright once again this week, who has the likes of Jordan Rapana, Zak Hardaker, and Aidan Sezer to call on, not to mention in-form props Herman Ese’ese and Liam Knight.
Hull will be looking for their second win at Warrington this season. The Black and Whites defeated the Wire 28-16 back in April. They remain without Will Pryce (hamstring), Ligi Sao (knee), Jed Cartwright (hamstring), Jordan Lane (arm), John Asiata (hamstring), Liam Watts (knee), and Roman Dawson (ACL).
