Just one change has been made to Hull KR’s 21-man squad ahead of their clash with Castleford Tigers on Friday night.

Winger Joe Burgess is in the squad after missing last week’s victory over Catalans Dragons and he replaces Harvey Horne, leaving head coach Willie Peters with plenty to ponder.

Noah Booth impressed in Burgess’ place at the weekend and will hope to have given Peters food for thought. Meanwhile, Eribe Doro got another run-out in the absence of Sam Luckley, who remains in the 21-man squad despite missing last week’s victory.

Danny Richardson and Leon Ruan also retain their places in the extended squad. Rovers are still without Oliver Gildart, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Micky McIlorum and Rhyse Martin, though goal-kicking forward Martin could return when the Robins play Wakefield Trinity next week.

Meanwhile Tom Amone is set to feature against the Robins on Friday ahead of his move to the club next season. The prop has agreed to join Rovers in 2026, but is free to play against them this week as his current deal is exclusively with the Tigers, where he has signed a short-term contract for the remainder of the year.

Former Robins Sam Wood, Rowan Milnes, George Lawler, George Griffin, Louis Senior, Will Tate, Dan Okoro and Chris Atkin are also in the Tigers’ 21-man squad, coached by another former Rovers player and coach in Danny McGuire.

Hull KR squad to face Castleford: Tom Davies, Peta Hiku, Joe Burgess, Mikey Lewis, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Dean Hadley, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella, Sam Luckley, Jai Whitbread, Jack Broadbent, Danny Richardson, Kelepi Tanginoa, Jack Brown, Eribe Doro, Bill Leyland, Leon Ruan, Arthur Mourgue, Noah Booth.
