Hull City have moved to strengthen their goalkeeping options with the signing of free agent Dillon Phillips. The 30-year-old will join the Tigers on July 1, after leaving Rotherham United at the end of the season, where he played 39 times in total over the past two campaigns.
Phillips has signed a two-year contract at the MKM Stadium with the club holding an option of a third year. His addition is part of changes to the squad for the new season, with new City boss Sergej Jakirovic and the board freshening up the squad and the options in goal.
Thimothée Lo-Tutala has left on loan to Doncaster Rovers for the 2025/26 season and there is talk Anthony Racioppi could also be on his way out of the exit door, with Phillips arriving to provide realistic competition for first choice keeper Ivor Pandur.
Phillips has played over 200 games at seven different clubs, but has 81 appearances to his name in the Championship and played a key role in helping Charlton Athletic secure promotion from League One via the play-offs six years ago.
A former non league player who has won the National League title in 2016, Phillips has also played for Cardiff City and Belgium club KV Oostende.
