John Cartwright has made one change to his Hull FC squad to take on Castleford Tigers this Friday night. The Black and Whites are in action at the MKM Stadium for the first time in over 50 days, with Will Gardiner slotting back in after an injury was confirmed to Will Pryce.
Pryce is out with a hamstring injury and is expected to be sidelined for around 8-10 weeks. He joins John Asiata, Jed Cartwright, Jordan Lane, Liam Watts, Ligi Sao, and Roman Dawson on the treatment table.
As first reported by Hull Live, Amir Bourouh is fit to play despite copping a bang to his cheekbone at Catalans Dragons. The hooker, who continues to show his toughness in the side this year, didn’t feature in the second half, but despite X-rays showing a crack, he has been cleared by the specialist and is named in the squad.
Cade Cust is also included and poised to play after shaking off recent illness and a bang to his hip. The half-back suffered the injury at Leigh Leopards last month and was named in the squad for Catalans but didn’t travel. He is now set to partner Aidan Sezer in the halves.
Jordan Rapana looks set to play at full-back in Pryce’s absence. The Kiwi lined up in the halves in Perpignan but is now set for a return to the back. Logan Moy isn’t named and could play on dual reg again at Doncaster if selected by Dons head coach Richard Horne. He made a try scoring debut in the Championship against Bradford Bulls last time out.
The likes of Brad Fash and Will Hutchinson didn’t play in Perpignan but are named in the squad again. Liam Knight is also included once more alongside loan player Sam Eseh.
