Two brand-new party spots in Hull will open their doors for the first time on Saturday.
Broadway Party Bar & Courtyard and Firebox are set to change the dynamic of the night scene in Hull. Broadway is replacing Propaganda across an area that includes part of The Prospect Shopping Centre.
Firebox, a bass-filled warehouse venue, is launching simultaneously on Mill Street, just behind the former Propaganda. Works over the last six months have brought the space to life, with the majority of investment on the sound and lighting system, as well as extensive sound proofing to contain it.
Leah Stannard, Operations Manager, said: “Broadway and Firebox will provide something for everyone. Reviving the former Yorkshireman’s party vibe at Broadway whilst bringing something totally new to the city with Firebox is the perfect combination of the old and new.
“I can’t wait to welcome customers to Broadway and Firebox this Saturday!”

Broadway brings a new hands-up party vibe to the city, akin to the former Yorkshireman pub on Lombard Street. It will be characterised by a fun party atmosphere, with a stylish extended outdoor courtyard. The bar is inspired by the former Broadway Hotel, a nod to the venue’s constant evolution over its lifespan.
It will offer brunches, 2-4-1 cocktails, tipi parties, and an outdoor sound system for enjoying the summer sun. Inside, the new Broadway will bring a mixture of DJs, entertainers and party queens to set the perfect mood for your night out.
Firebox is designed at heart to serve up all things House, Tech, Bassline and D&B, but has been crafted to be able to host events of any genre, as well as live gigs.

With Broadway offering party anthems as a second room, customers will have the freedom to move across the two venues and outdoor space to enjoy the array of different music styles and atmospheres that are most suited to them.
Both spaces will be available to hire, whether it be for promotor events, birthdays, or other celebration parties.
The launch party for both venues will take place on Saturday June, with the invite-only VIP sneak-peek taking place from 8PM. The venues will then open to the wider public at 11PM and remain open until 6am.
