
Dave Hall was part of the last Hull KR side to lift a major trophy and he was there to watch the class of 2025 make new history at Wembley.
Rovers legend Hall was in the stands as Hull KR ’s 40 year wait for silverware came to an end and his reaction to their success has been captured on camera.
Hall, alongside his son and fellow former Robin Craig Hall, were captured taking in the moment Rovers were able to call themselves champions.

Visibly emotional, the pair were arm in arm as they celebrated Rovers 8-6 win over Warrington Wolves.
The footage was captured by Dave’s wife and Craig’s mum Donna, who posted “It’s in there blood never leaves them what a day well deserved @NeilHudgell enjoy Mr hkr and players coaches everyone.”
Dave Hall spent 15 years with Rovers and made over 300 appearances, establishing him as one of the club’s all-time greats.
Meanwhile, Craig had two spells at Rovers, first between 2011-2014 before returning for two years in 2018. He made 118 appearances for the club.
Hall was one of several past players from the 80s in attendance at the weekend. Steve Hubbard and Mike Smith were interviewed on BBC before the game and the club had a hospitality box for more greats of the past at Wembley.
