The occupants of a car had to jump out to safety after their vehicle caught fire on the A63 flyover heading east towards the city centre this morning.
It happened at around 9.30am on the flyover near to Strickland Street, and emergency services were in attendance.
The incident has resulted in a major hold up for traffic eastbound on the A63. Passengers in cars near the scene turned to social media to warn other motorists to avoid the area.
The road is not expected to be blocked for long after all occupants were accounted for and safe.
