A visitor attraction on the East Yorkshire coast has a summer programme planned that is jam-packed with fun things to do.
Sewerby Hall and Gardens, near Bridlington, will be hosting a variety of exciting events and activities to entertain the whole family during the summer holidays. This includes puppet shows, magic and face painting, immersive story-telling adventures, and weekly Wildcats activities.
Sewerby Hall will also celebrate Yorkshire Day, on Friday, August 1, with a family fun day to follow, complete with bouncy slides and bubbles, on Sunday, August 3. Later, the ICONIC BRICKS Pirates! Exhibition will launch, on Friday, August 22, with a pirate party of music, magic and more taking place on Saturday, August 30.
Car club meets, experiences with animals and a festive celebration of “Bridmas Day” are all in the mix and ready to engage families throughout the summer break from lessons. Cllr Nick Coultish, East Riding Council’s cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism said, “It’s fantastic to see the wide variety of events being held at Sewerby Hall, and I encourage everyone to visit and take part in the opportunities available this summer.”
Marie Gascoigne, Sewerby Hall and Gardens, general manager, said: “This will be a great programme of events and activities for all ages, and we look forward to welcoming lots of visitors to Sewerby Hall, gardens and zoo over the summer holidays.”
