McDonald’s is trialling a new Breakfast Saver Menu at selected restaurants – including those in the Hull area.

The range includes two new items – a Sausage Sandwich priced at £1.99 and the Saver Bacon Roll which costs £2.19. The saver menu also includes fan favourites like the Cheesy Bacon Flatbread, Porridge, Apple Slices, Hash Browns, as well as Tropicana Orange and Apple Juice – all priced under £2 each.

The menu is being tested in 332 restaurants around the country, including all in the Hull area, from Wednesday, May 7 “for a short period of time before launching more broadly later this year”.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite on your morning commute or settling in for a leisurely breakfast, the Breakfast Saver Menu is crafted to deliver value and convenience without breaking the bank.”

The breakfast saver launch will arrive on the same day as a lunch and dinner menu refresh including the introduction of the new Frank’s Red Hot Mayo dip and Frozen Cherry Lemonade. It will also see the return of the Biscoff McFlurry and Biscoff Frappe, the McSpicy x Frank’s Red Hot Burger, and the Steakhouse Stack.
