Hull KR returned to the top of Super League with a 34-0 win over Huddersfield Giants. Six tries were enough to see them run out comfortable winners. Here are the player ratings.
Arthur Mouruge – 5: Threatened at times but not enough. A few nervy high-ball moments too.
Tom Davies – 6: Another who caught the error virus but did produce some good carries.
Noah Booth – 5: Didn’t do anything wrong but didn’t really get involved in the game.
Jack Broadbent – 5: Another who had a bit of an off day.
Joe Burgess – 8: In tremendous form. Two tries here, his second an excellent finish, and what about the short pass for Tanginoa’s try? Great stuff.
Mikey Lewis – 6: Came up with too many errors but did score a crucial try and set up the last one.
Tyrone May – 6: Looked a bit frantic at times; very unusual for him, but also produced some moments of brilliance.
Dean Hadley – 7: Even in a scrappy game, he proves to be the pillar of consistency.
Jez Litten – 7: Very good defensively. Played big minutes too.
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves – 6: Loses a mark for the sin bin but was leading from the front defensively.
Jai Whitbread – 6: A bit out of sync in attack playing in the back-row but will be better for the outing.
James Batchelor – 7: A reliable performance from the consistent back-rower.
Elliot Minchella – 7: Had squabbles with opponents during the game but got his team fired up.
Sam Luckley – 7: Strong during his stint on the field.
Jack Brown – 7: Good to see him on the scoresheet, he’ll have enjoyed that.
Kelepi Tanginoa – 9: The type of performance we know he’s capable of. Gave Huddersfield hell.
Bill Leyland – 5: Thankfully, no major injury concern after returning to the field, but didn’t stay on the field very long.
