Willie Peters has named his 21-man squad ahead of Friday’s Challenge Cup dress rehearsal with Warrington Wolves.
The current Super League leaders will make the trip to the Halliwell Jones Stadium for Round 12, before facing Sam Burgess’ side again under the famous Wembley arch on Saturday, June 7, as part of a triple-header in the capital.
There’s only one change to Peters’ extended squad, with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves set to miss the next two fixtures due to suspension. The veteran Kiwi prop copped a grade D charge from the match review panel following the win over Huddersfield Giants, but will be available for the Challenge Cup showdown. Lee Kershaw replaces the 36-year-old in the squad to face the Wire.
Meanwhile, Paul Vaughan has not been named in Warrington’s squad. The prop is a surprise absentee for the match between the two Challenge Cup finalists.
Centre Toby King also misses out, currently managing a groin issue. Josh Thewlis is back in contention after missing their 40-10 defeat to Wakefield Trinity due to head injury protocols. Outside-back Connor Wrench made a try-scoring return from an ACL injury.
