John Cartwright has named Cade Cust in his Hull FC 21-man squad to take on Catalans Dragons this Saturday evening. The Black and Whites head over to Perpignan for the second time of the season and will do so with their half-back, who has been included despite suffering a hip pointer injury at Leigh last week.
Cust was forced off the field in the first half of the victory over the Leythers. However, he has been deemed fit enough to be named in the provisional squad, with Hull flying out to the south of France on Friday. The Aussie suffered the same injury at Wakefield back in March but played the following week. He has missed just one game all year.
Elsewhere, Cartwright has made two changes to his squad. As expected, John Asiata drops out with a hamstring injury, with the loose forward now awaiting scan results to discover the severity. Logan Moy also makes way.
In come Jordan Rapana, who has passed all the mandatory protocols following a head injury picked up at Leeds two weeks ago. He is joined in the squad by young hooker Will Hutchinson.
As well as Asiata, Hull remain without Ligi Sao (knee), Jed Cartwright (hamstring), Jordan Lane (arm), Oliver Holmes (knee), Liam Watts (calf), and Roman Dawson (ACL).
