Two popular food stores in the Hull area will each close for around two weeks while they are given a “refresh” and will reopen with “some new additions”.
The Heron Foods supermarkets in Spring Bank West, Hull, and King Street, Cottingham, are set to shut for refits next month.
When they reopen, the first 100 customers in each store who spend £15 or more will be given a £5 voucher. Promotional leaflets will also be distributed to local households with coupons and offers.
The Cottingham store will be the first to get a refresh, closing on Thursday, June 12 and reopening on Thursday, June 26 at 8am. The Spring Bank West store will close on Thursday, June 26 and reopen at 8am on Monday, July 7.
A spokesperson for Heron Foods said the Melton-based company was “thrilled” to be refreshing the stores and added they “look forward to welcoming customers through the doors”.
The stores will continue to stock the stable products customers have enjoyed over the years but also feature some new additions, with a food-to-go meal deal and much more.
