Only one Super League fixture attracted a crowd of more than 10,000, with a total attendance of 46,496 across Round 12.

That’s an average of just 7,779, with Catalans Dragons recording the highest attendance.

10,103 watched in Perpignan as Joel Tomkins took interim charge of the Dragons for the first time, following the departure of Steve McNamara.

Thursday’s fixture at the Leigh Sports Village saw a crowd of 8,046 as Hull FC claimed a 26-12 victory over Adrian Lam’s Leopards.

The second-highest crowd of the weekend was recorded at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with 9,972 in attendance for the Challenge Cup final dress rehearsal. Hull KR claimed a 31-12 victory over Warrington Wolves, with the two sides set to meet again on Saturday, June 7, at Wembley.

The lowest crowd over the recent round of action was 4,029 as Huddersfield Giants fell to a home 46-4 defeat to St Helens. Luke Robinson’s side have won just one game all season and sit just above Salford Red Devils at the foot of the table.

Castleford Tigers attracted a crowd of 8,069 for their home match with Leeds Rhinos. The visitors ran out 29-6 winners.

Finally on Sunday, 6,277 saw Wakefield Trinity dominate Salford 72-10 at the DIY Kitchens Stadium.
