A motorcycle rider sadly died in a crash on Friday morning.
The 65-year-old man was riding a black Aprilia motorcycle northbound on Dolegate, off the A166 near Stamford Bridge and Buttercrambe, North Yorkshire, before colliding with a fence close to the junction with Lowfield Lane at around 10am.
When emergency services attended, the rider of the motorcycle was tragically found to have died at the scene.
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “His next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers at this time.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam footage or who may have witnessed the collision around the time it is believed to have occurred to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 115 of 23 May.”
