Look back at the all-star line up that came together to play the Feel The Noise Live gig in Hull’s East Park in July 2002.

Steps, Emma Bunton, A1, and Blue were just some of the huge names who came together for the event put together by Viking FM. All the profits from the gig went to local charities.

It’s now been 20 years since 30,000 people bought a ticket and headed to East Park for the biggest live music event the region had ever seen. Boy band Blue flew in on helicopters following an appearance on ITV’s CD:UK and took off again, heading in the direction of Sheffield, for another gig later that day.

“It’s been brilliant, and we’ve had a great day,” said Duncan, one quarter of the top-selling band. Fellow band member Simon said: “We will definitely come back if we are asked. As soon as they ask us, we’re here.”
