A power cut has hit an area of east Hull this morning.
Over 1,700 properties are said to be currently affected by the outage. The area is around Holderness Road and streets off.
One local resident told Hull Live that traffic lights were out. The Morrison’s supermarket in Holderness Road was also reportedly “turning customers away”.
Northern Powergrid’s live power cuts map shows “multiple activities” around the Southcoates Lane, Preston Road, Maybury Road and East Park areas.
A spokesperson for Northern Powergrid had no details of the cause but said: “The outage is affecting 1,743 customers. We are aiming to get the last customer’s power on by 1.15pm today.”
