Noah Booth will make his Hull KR debut in their Magic Weekend clash with Salford Red Devils. The young outside back, signed from Wakefield Trinity earlier this year, will get a chance to impress in Willie Peters’ side after being given the nod to play on the wing.

Booth has started the season in form, impressing during a loan spell in the Championship with Hunslet before starring in the reserves last weekend. That has been enough to convince Peters to give him an opportunity at St James’ Park.

Booth is one of two changes, with Eribe Doro also coming in for his first Super League start for the Robins. He replaces Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, rested ahead of the Challenge Cup semi-final next week. The other player left out is Kelepi Tanginoa, who was not available for selection after failing a head injury assessment in last week’s triumph over Leeds Rhinos.

Booth will play on the wing, which results in Peta Hiku returning to centre. James Batchelor goes back to second-row to make up for the loss of Tanginoa.

Doro will play from the bench, and that has seen Jai Whitbread promoted to starting prop, the role he took on throughout the majority of the 2024 season. He will start alongside Sauaso Sue, who is available for selection after he was not charged for the red card last week.

Hull KR squad to face Salford : Arthur Mourgue, Noah Booth, Peta Hiku, Oliver Gildart, Jack Broadbent, Mikey Lewis, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Jai Whitbread, Dean Hadley, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella. Subs: Sam Luckley, Jack Brown, Eribe Doro, Bill Leyland.
